TasCAG Executive and Specialist
Reference Group Applications
Thank you for considering applying for a position with the
Tasmanian Community Advisory Group on Mental Health.
The TasCAG's primary objective is to provide a mechanism
for consumer and carer input into mental health policy and
decision making processes, particularly in relation to the
National
Mental Health Strategy and National
Mental Health Plan; and in accordance with the Mental
Health Statement of Rights and Responsibilities that was endorsed
in 1991.
The TasCAG achieves this objective in the following ways:
- Advisory role to the Minister for Health and Human Services.
- Representation on National, State, Regional and Local
committees.
- Community consultation, awareness and education of mental
health issues.
How to apply:
- Complete the Expression
of Interest form for membership of the TasCAG.
- Write a brief cover letter outlining your interest in
mental health and indicating which position you would like
to apply for. The choices are:
- Ministerial Appointment to the Executive
Committee.
- TasCAG selected member of the Specialist
Reference Group.
- Provide a statement addressing the Selection Criteria
that is relevant to the position you are applying for.
- Provide the names and contact details of two (2) Referees.
- Provide a copy of your Curriculum Vitae (CV).
